Discover Sardinia
Sardinia is an old land rich in folk traditions, history, food and wine excellences and breathtaking landscapes.
Each year it attracts thousands of tourists from all over the world.
Food and Wine
For lovers of good wine, a lot of wineries will be happy to take you to their cellars to make you appreciate and learn more about the wines that you can taste during your holiday.
Do not forget the farmhouses, the ones you see in the magazines, the ones you wonder if they really exist, surrounded by nature that offer a truly unforgettable one-of-a-kind gastronomic experience!
Tradition
Let’s visit the hinterland, in Barbagia, where local tradition does not abandon the old road to the new one, don’t miss the traditional "Cortes Apertas", the renowned itinerant date that takes us to discover the heart of Sardinia through history and flavors of Barbagia, territory, craftsmanship, culture and typical cuisine.
Numerous and really curious are the performances of the famous Mamuthones, accompanied by the Issohadores, keeping “soha”, a long rattan rope. Issohadore does not wear heavy bells, but is dressed as a Turkish. Funny!
Outdoor
If you love trekking, caving and canyoning you cannot miss the most breathtaking and wild side, such as the Gorropu gorge, the Grand Canyon of Sardinia, 1,500 meters long and with its walls that in some points even reach 400 meters in height!
Endless possibilities for trekking routes, breathtaking climbs and routes for all levels of athletic training, for young and old!
Ancient History
If you are passionate about history of ancient Sardinian civilization, there are more than 7000 “nuraghi” still present in Sardinia today. The Nuraghi (from Nur = pile of stones, hollow pile), are stone buildings with a conical trunk shape.
The best known are the tholos nuraghi, made of truncated cones with circular chambers, niches and silos inside. The walls also reach 4 meters wide, and can reach a height of over 20 meters. Come and visit the most famous nuraghi!
Beaches
Come and see the real and most famous jewel in Sardinia, its sea of unique colors.
The pink granite rocks and the typical vegetation of the Mediterranean maquis characterize the classic "colors of Sardinia" which, with its sea of a thousand crystalline shades, make up a perfect holiday combination.
I will be glad to show you the best beaches in the area!
